As a trans person, I find it interesting that so many people have opinions on an illness that truly sucks. It’s rough reading every day that you are “wrong” about something you suffer from. I wish folks could see the losses we experience when we transition. I think if they did, they might extend a little more grace and compassion.

(That said, I do agree with you on nuance)

As someone that has tried and failed at many attempts over a decade, I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate you. This is so wonderful, and I couldn’t be happier for you. Thank you for sharing your journey, and lessons learned .

I’m now a single working mom supporting 2 young kiddos on my own, so my time has become limited; but I’ll be back :)

I like this perspective, it’s not a replacement for thinking, it’s a replacement for typing what has already been typed countless times.
