I'm so curious.. I don't use pinboard, but everyone says it's awesome. What's so good in it?
SunCalc is a little app that shows sun movement and sunlight phases during the given day at the given location.
I'm Hungarian and I can assure that this move is a beautiful temporization from our government. They proposed this tax to herd the attention from the 'banning scandal'.[1] And now from one moment to the other, they are heroes. [1] http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/10/20/us-usa-hungary-idU...
Wow, how is that divided between Android and iOS?
That's a thing I have been thinking about for ages. Curently it works like this: - Someone adds an opinion (they show their support for the viewpoint -> the viewpoint gets a +1) - Someone votes on an opinion (they show that they like/dislike the opinion not necessarily the viewpoint -> the count stays the same)
Thanks for the feedback.
I know the market is pretty small, but I think there is potential in it. It is an interesting experiment for me.
(founder here) Thanks for posting `sehrattracktive`. Funny name btw..
I also want to thank everyone who checked it out and gave some thoughts on it.
Here are some invites for you guys: http://chilledlime.com/url/e.php?inv=80505e
Pretty decent. I love how you made the loading animation for the loading dots at the end of "Searching for competitor..."!
I love the interface and structure. The loading went really really slowly though. I would suggest you to add some keyboard shortcuts (like [J] and [K] for switching articles back and forth) and let the users participate!
+1 for not using Google Maps.
Not a new thing: http://econsultancy.com/uk/blog/10359-60-of-google-visitors-...
Looks good! What icon set are you using?
Well, this logo is for a paragliding company and I thought this is the poisition people take when they are gliding.
I think the creator of the project found some failures in the 45° view of Google Maps and then he/she went to these locations and took a photograph. Then he/she edited these photos so that they looked like the Google Maps failures are real.
Anyway, it looks interesting.
Thanks for the kind words and the suggestions!
Well, yes.. today after somebody posted this to HN, the unregistered unknown internet surfers some spam opinions too. But I think, when we launch the registeration recquired site, the ratio of spam and unuseful opinions and comments will drop.
Quora is knowledge based, ChilledLime is opinion based. Delivering the same, or better knowledge in a more democratic way.
Just a random and juicey name that I love ;)
Because, I made it :D Will change it before launch!
Got some hijackers who want to get the traffic for themselfs.
UPDATE: Fixed it. Got rid of the hackers!
Yeah they could answer them by themselfs. We are making ChilledLime to help people who can't decide on their own!
(Here is the scenario: You are at a sports store and you see 3 sneakers you really like but not sure which one you want so.
- You pop open your "ChilledLime" app (it sorta looks like instagram)
- You pick number of sides to your discussion (In this case 3)
- You can simply add the sneakers and then post
- You can also select the camera icon
So you take lets say 3 consecutive shots each for the sneakers.
Then you wait for opinions of the ChilledLime community. )
Thanks!
Yes, I meant something very close to your description. Although, I also think, that this experiment with a question that is very timely (in this case: the fight of mobile phones), failed, because it fails to communicate the real value of this platform. The value of getting opinions or (sometimes) feedback on your own thoughts and decisions!

Thanks Karika for submitting! Looking forward to the thoughts of the HN community here!
Good idea. http://www.google.com/trends/explore#q=ios%204%2C%20ios%205%... here is the iOS version!
Yes, that means 30/30
What did you do to promote your site on the launch day?
I shared my thoughts about some features I would love to see in the future: http://throwww.com/a/2r4 ;)
You are welcome! Love Throwww..will be using it actively!
No No No..don't change a thing on it. Or maybe just one thing: Make the vote up and vote down icons a bit sleeker.
It looks like a simple browser based writer and a minimalistic blogging platform in one thing.
I like it pretty much. Especially the comments section under each post.
Keep up the good work!
Mine was..hmm let me think...Pinterest!
