if the market price for garbage collection rises that high, every other job that seems 'better' will have to rise the pay too, else people will all go into garbage business. who will clean my seat at the peep shows then? and if every job costs that much, the product of it will have to cost accordingly. in the world of UBI, either a loaf of bread will cost 300000 of cold hard cash, or there will be no one to build the first generation of your precious robots. hence the nightmare. anyway, back in the 1960's some idiots already forewarned that factory automation was fast approaching and it would make everyone lose jobs. google automation hysteria. what they proposed was eerily similar to UBI. this new iteration is just history repeating itself. guess they didn't predict society just changing to find new jobs.

can't you just slow the simulation down? processing one second would take (for example) one year, but the creatures inside the simulation wouldn't know that, would they?

can wireguard work over tcp? many captive portals i encounter daily block most ports and almost always allow only tcp. so i set up openvpn on port 443 over tcp, which got through everything so far.

from my point of view all those deaths and massive unrests resulted from various groups trying to do away with inequality, usually by taking what's not theirs.

and that money, where did it come from? look at fortune 500, what percentage inherited it? what percentage inherited it from someone further down the ancestral line than their parents? rich people without skill will squander their fortunes.

unequal society was sustainable exactly until now. there is no evidence whatsoever that it won't still be.

maybe to those poor the current system was the best available way of making money? if it wasn't, surely they would find something better. have you asked them whether they were actually exploited or did you just assume?
