It was useless to point it out because the point isn't about a specific Nazi, it's that everyone would agree with some of the good opinions of bad people, war criminals and so-on. You haven't replied btw, do you also agree with this Nazi opinion?

Hermann Göring (apparently a top Nazi war criminal, Gestapo founder, Holocaust architect) held that animals deserve strong legal protection from cruelty and pushed the progressive 1933 Reich Animal Protection Act that banned unnecessary suffering.
Do you agree with his Nazi opinion? But of course, this isn't about "Nazi", we are talking about serious criminals that did a lot of wrong but also doing a lot of good, that's the whole point, is that people can do both (thousand do so, everyday).
Again, before I'm being mistaken for a Nazi, I'm not saying that doing good invalidate doing bad, I'm saying both are true simultaneously, you have many real life examples with people that did great within their community and later been discovered to have done extremely immoral things, I can pull up a massive list with Fable if you want me to but I don't think it's necessary. Previous slave owners that did heavily fight for slave rights later-on is another example but I don't think it's necessary as there is probably hundred of thousand of cases and this is HN, I believe we can extrapolate a minimum.
I don't know any "current Nazi" so I can't say, but from history, it's pretty easy.
Brilliant or useful ideas/work can come from morally monstrous or politically toxic people you know. Many people have done things that are very morally wrong (up to murder and so-on) and provide great things to the world, not that it "compensate" in anything, but both can be true at the same time (do bad & good at the same time, or during different life periods).
You need to realize that millions at the time of Nazi regime were "Pro-Nazi", and many were scientists that invented great things, many were writers that wrote lasting pieces, many used their experience to actually to meaningful things later-on, such as avoiding that those terrible things re-occur, how do you explain this?
Let me give you another example: Programs meant for homeless, drug addicts, criminals... are often managed by former criminals, and they turned their lives around and decided to actually contribute to society instead of continuing to do harm (or sometimes do both at the same time).
Why would their opinion not be valid? If a "Nazi sympathizer" invent something, it's not valid, it doesn't exist? You don't make any sense.
Exactly, it's not even talking about the right subject, it's a personal attack on one of the shareholder, a free one.
Writer is literally implying that if you don't follow the opinion of someone, you must boycott all the companies he is affiliated with.
Why would France not be sovereign, the license is Apache2, that's the whole point, they can take the model and rebrand it as Mistral and incorporate it as part of their model list?
We cannot separate ethics from technology. Huh, yes, we can, writer's have the direct proof and still refuse to acknowledge it, aka that Mullvad, a COMPANY meaning a separated entity from the founders is doing great things for humanity, which proves that we can separate but still writer is obsessed with one of the shareholder and imply that Mullvad itself isn't an ethical company despite the contrary proven by multiple external auditors.
This blog is honestly terrible, it seems that the writer is race-obsessed, half the articles are stuff about race, weird gender ideology, veganism, nazism... it literally feels like the garbage we see on Reddit, aggregated and parroted without substance, writer isn't proposing a solution to anything, he is just defaming people and companies and feels extremely judgmental, it's not at all accepting opinions of other people, it's imposing that the world has to be writer's way else it's wrong.
They don't need a rebrand, they need usable models, they already have the best branding in the industry, but right now there is open-source models with open weights and favorable license that is above them, why don't they fine-tune and incorporate those models?
One prompt and the template is fixed instead of ending up DEAD soon, OP, why?
Programming is basically now playing with some keystrokes and joysticks :p
Have you tried actually pretending to be human when replying to support? In many scenarios it leads to the same satisfaction
yeah, but it also made us slaves of LLMs, let's be real, we will not do anything else than query AIs soon enough.
except that lately we've had a ton of CVE related to memory, so in practice it's not exactly right.
In the future, code readability will not really matter, the concept of maintainability will also change: Is it maintainable by AI, if yes, then it's maintainable, we will approach the day where we have virtually ZERO code written by human, so all the tools must be built for AIs, not humans anymore.
So you are saying that Mullvad founder would basically actively log people that are NOT racist and send that to the US gov, yes? Makes total sense.
Use what data? I literally don't see the correlation with trust and racism.
Can you be clear on the kind of data a "racist VPN owner" could use against me?
You can't, else it would mean if someone smash you in the street with a car and you don't carry an ID on you, they wouldn't treat you.
"a racist", you haven't even read anything, that's straight defamation and a dumb take.
And let's play along, why can't you trust a racist with your privacy?
Illegal immigrants?
Yeah I'm pretty sure hiding in a cargo while I cross border to Iran isn't shady at all, seems really a legit way to live life.
Can you show me a source where this party or Mullvad founder(s) are against non-white? Cite an exact statement please.
I don't think anyone gives a sh*t about skin color, but of course it's legitimate to care about cultural background and education, not wanting uneducated people with vastly different culture that doesn't align with the host country is a valid stance and it makes sense to maintain proper equilibrium in the said country.
Illegal immigrants often don't carry the same level of education as Swedes (which is unfair to Swedes), else they could just emigrate there legally, so why aren't they doing so?
I agree that immigration is important and even giving chances to people that are willing to completely assimilate, change culture and loyalty to the said country to eventually after XX years to become a citizen, but starting by saying f*ck your laws before even arriving is just blatant disrespect.
Illegal immigrants are not paying social contributions because the can't be hired legally, so they don't really contribute to the retirement issue, and very often, let's be real, they must resort to even more illegal schemes to get by because of restrictions having no-paper, it's hard to even get a SIM card, so even to get a phone, they'll need to commit a crime of some sort by stealing an ID.
I just don't understand how we can reach fairness which is extremely important with people that want to do the right thing and actually apply properly and assimilate.
Let me ask you a blunt question to understand your headspace: Am I committing a crime if I cross South Korea border and stay over there without any form of consent? And more that the technicality of the crime, is it morally fine to do so?
the offline mode is literally offline :p
"anti China", why so? have you lived there?
What's wrong about it? You expect me to be a jap citizen if I just over-stay there and have my children born there?
you are saying that if that founder earned from scam websites while running Mullvad, then it would have been fine to sponsor that association with the crime money, but not Mullvad money, yes?
Apparently it's not criminal to stay illegally in a country, they are delusional.
VMs?
Right, but he might also have access to the best health experts I suppose.
