Don't think so but after seeing electricity prices rise and even double in areas by giant data centers many areas are requiring them to provide their own power

For what ages?
I don't think saying any of that resulted in being banned because I saw it constantly.
Also you are still wrong about most of that. The vaccine is certainly safe and effective, masks definitely help, lockdowns definitely helped the overrun hospitals. Yes there were adverse effects in some of these policies unfortunately.
Yea you can use it client side and sync to PowerSync or electricsql if you aren't using js on the backend

I use TinyBase for the client side store, it can sync with pretty much all the technologies people are talking about here
The video title is the title of the article they are reacting to and mostly not agreeing with
We're running out of the ability to make transistors smaller and closer together so beyond some major breakthrough I wouldnt expect Moore's law to continue nearly long enough to get to the point of running GPT4 on consumer hardware in the short term
When you are a product that people build businesses on top of and start by burning money to grow as fast as possible and then switch to caring about profitability with a months notice to your customers that's a shitty thing to do.
For those looking for alternatives check out https://neon.tech/, https://turso.tech/ and https://developers.cloudflare.com/d1/.
Yea this seems like a gift for https://neon.tech/, https://turso.tech/ and https://developers.cloudflare.com/d1/.
Planetscale is definitely popular and they get a lot of free advertisement from tech influencers (may change without the free tier) but most people I know in enterprise haven't heard of it.
Double checking I think I'm wrong. I may have been thinking of some specific crime. But Milwaukee is specifically bad due to historical segregation issues. Anyway drug and addiction issues have hit rural issues really bad
Big cities are pretty safe. For instance you more likely to be a victim of a crime in rural northern Wisconsin, like Barron County, than you are in Milwaukee.
Don't let your narrative be shaped by stats that aren't proportional.
Well Elon was forced to buy Twitter that way
Turns out it less necessarily when you don't have to worry about opening the door to an AR-15 or worse.
Actually missed this was covered in the post, thanks
Actually missed this is answered in the article!
What is the advantage over using Retrieval Augmented Generation ?
Google is the one pushing them. Apple has the incentive to keep people on the device though because they don't have an advertising business
That's precisely what gets them in trouble though. Every bank, credit card, giant corporation has an app and has to pay Apple nothing but indie game developers subsidize them
Just try it. Your favorite editor almost certainly has a vim motions plugin, try it for a week and see if you go back.
Disney really shouldn't even be included in the first sentence of this article, according to itself they have 8 million subscribers and are expecting to be profitable next year.
The consumer harm rule of antitrust isn't actually part of the law just how it's been interpreted for a while, but I do agree that's how a conservative court will likely rule.

Forms aren't even a react feature. They are part of some meta frameworks and there are hundreds of packages you can pick from... Doesn't sound like it was solved to me
Do you have any examples of this?
Yea the point is the people losing the 8B are not the people saving the 1 trillion, or getting most of the Covid relief
After being called out lol
"it feels like we definitely had the technology to do this a LONG time ago!*
What...
Why should I take your word, or anyone else's word, over the person themselves.
For example, go try to change Laverne Cox's Wikipedia to male you will have the same issue.
Why limit it to trans people, go change J.K Rowling to Male because I think she is male, if I get enough Wikipedia editors on board we should be able to do that right?
Also in all of these cases the gender of the person is one of the least interesting and important things about them to me as someone who doesn't know them, so why would I care to tell them what gender they are. Why would anyone else?
That site seems to have a captcha issue.
Wikipedia editors shouldn't have more say in someone's gender than the person themselves. I guess that seems obvious to me.
And yea being inclusive of trans people and accepting current theories of psychological and medical treatment is a Western bias.
But I don't think any other angle would make sense, people are the gender they say they are seems to be a very simple policy.
Other discrimination against women seems to be a separate issue that should be addressed
Would you like Wikipedia to claim something that is objectively false like your doctor or parents or "society" tell you what gender you are and your thoughts on it don't matter?
Maybe if you give an example of what issue you have seen?
