hah, tempting but if I went back to the Navy reserves I'd try to go to dive school, but I'm well past the age for the Navy. For the Army and Air Force their max age is 39 waiverable so I have some time there though I'm too old to go pilot :(

These are all valid points everything you said resonates with me.
I was in the US Navy myself and have been out for 11 years during which time I've finished a Bachelors (thanks GI Bill), will be finishing a Masters here shortly (also in CS), and have been in tech the entire time. While the pay is great and intellectually fulfilling, a part of me certainly misses having contact with a broader cross-section of society and of doing things that give you purpose.
I've been considering returning to a National Guard unit especially as I was born under Soviet occupation and the current events of the world highlight the growing threat of certain nations deciding to invade Eastern Europe.

Can I jump on this bandwagon? I also seriously appreciate what Signal is doing and they deserve to hear it more often
The officers handled themselves very professionally. This was a legal traffic stop, the driver was issued a citation for having expired registration. Any legal matter between the driver and the city of Tenafly is between the two parties and other than whatever legal requirements for disclosure are in place for reporting the traffic stop, the mother of the adult has no business involving herself.
No worries, Let's Encrypt makes it really easy if you haven't used them before. Since you have input forms and links to app stores it might be a good idea.
man, I hate being that guy, but no https?
Super interested in this podcast though
MailSpring is looking great, I've heard great things from one of my coworkers about Nylas Mail so I'll have to give this a try ;)
So, did anyone look at the time slip?
Slip #1: The Tesla showed 11.468 and the Lamborghini showed 11.307 on race one;
Slip #2: Tesla hit 11.418 while the Lamborghini shows 11.281.
A the bottom, the "Left 1st .2764" indicates the Lamborghini driver had over a quarter second slower response time.
Basically the Tesla beat the Lamborghini because the driver was slower. The second time slip shows the Lamborghini only 0.05 seconds slower response time and beating the Tesla in elapsed time.
I don't see how this is a win or am I missing something?
10am until 3 or 4pm.
M/W/F I work from home and at the moment T/Th I drive to the office about 30-50 minutes away depending on traffic.
Edit: Work as Senior Software Engineer for a startup in the US.
I'm still holding out that this is an April fools joke
