I've said this before and got downvoted for it.

But if companies allow extremists on their platforms then the moderates will leave. It's not so much a paradox but a cause and effect.

But if Twitter allows radicals, the moderates will leave.

Any shareholder would agree that the choice is clear - ban the radicals.

This is a private company and they are exercising their free market rights.

Maybe you think this is wrong, and the government should interfere by forcing Twitter to publish all content.

Well, good luck with that.

caucasian!

There is no evidence Native Americans originated from the Caucasus regions. We have remains that have been dated to as far back as 12,707–12,556 years BP. Accordingly:

Paleogenomic analysis of the remains revealed Siberian ancestry and a close genetic relationship to modern Native Americans, including those of Central and South America.[1][3] These findings support the hypothesis that modern Native Americans are descended from Asian populations who crossed Beringia between 32,000 and 18,000 years ago.

This comment will play extremely well on this website, which engineers frequent. And it's admittedly a great joke. But only tangentially relevant to the author's point.

The author's point is closer to the old adage of not shooting yourself in the foot. That is, however true your statement is, if it denies further thought it becomes a useless point.

I would switch today if Mozilla added tab completed search in the address bar that Chrome pioneered. It's very intuitive and difficult to give up.

I think it's that people tend to just go with their group. And when good people don't rise to oppose evil it snowballs into tragedy.
