Just a quick note; the market share decrease is relative to FF's original market share, in 2008. This may seem obvious to some but its really easy to get confused about absolute/relative changes when talking about percentages of percentages.

I think most people would upvote a reference to a xkcd based on how relevant they think it is to the post, not how much they love it.

In constrast, that particular tech stack is extremely common in India. I know this is not relevant to the post at hand but I thought it would be good to highlight how tech stacks differ from country to country.

It's probably the best way to get into game development if you already have some programming experience (LOVE 2D if you're inexperienced). I tried it a while back but when I did the documentation left much to be desired.

Iirc there used to be an Anki plugin that implemented incremental reading, but I think that one of the more recent Anki updates broke it.

20 rules for formulating knowledge [1] are also very useful. They were written by the creator of SuperMemo, which to my knowledge developed a lot of the spaced repetition algorithms.

For example Anki, the software talked about in the article, uses the SM-2 algorithm by default which was developed by SuperMemo.

I study in India and we are required to use a casio calculator. The board that I study in is also used in multiple other countries and recommends only casio watches.

If you had actually done any research, you would have known that this is not in fact due to any "reputation loss" from scammers; that is utter nonsense. India wasn't always poor, but after the Portuguese and British invaded it (history lesson, somehow I get the feeling you're gonna need it) that its relative wealth began to diminish. Again, no elaboration on why you think the PPP is hilarious. I will have to assume that you have nothing else to add and therefore jumped on the lowest hanging fruit. Red herring much? English is my fourth language, which I started learning about 5 years ago. I actually think I'm pretty good at it, but maybe I'm not. I tried to type in everything that I quoted so I must have mistyped.

Also no, I'm not bragging. A lot of Indians know a lot of languages, because of the diversity of the country. The language you speak (or at the very least, its dialect) changes every few kilometres depending on the area. I know 4 languages (2 Indian, 2 foreign) and thats not a lot for an Indian.

I think you have a misconception of where cybercrime truly is concentrated in India. I think its more in the villages, some of which actually organise "crash courses" for youth that wish to make a career out of this [1].

Personal anecdote but I've witnessed cybercrime being done in various towns in some of India's biggest states, and they attract youth that would otherwise have been working in their family farms, etc.

It depends on the reader how far they wish to take this quote literally, but I'm pretty sure somebody who used rehabiliation centres to recruit suicide bombers [0, 1] would be termed a terrorist by most people today.
