For me, Siri’s speech recognition is far worse than its NLP
Create separate contacts for each of your parents with their real names. Then, go into your contact card (aka “My Card”) and relate your parent’s contacts, one as mother, the other as father under “related names”. This will let Siri, and the rest of the system, know who your parents are. Also make sure that in Settings -> Siri & Search -> My information, you have the right contact card selected for yourself.
It’s unclear if the parent post meant that they have two contacts named “Mom and Dad” or if they are two separate contacts appropriately named.

I agree with this. Mostly because I had a poor experience with one of their gate agents recently. They forced me to check my hand luggage because it was 2kg overweight. They don't uniformly enforce the hand luggage weight limit, their employees get to pick and choose passengers at the gate. The gate agent scoffed at me putting an AirTag in the bag that they were making me check.

At face value, it seems like Apple is choosing not to reuse the devices. Apple determined that the devices were beyond repair and needed to be recycled for a reason (Potentially safety-related reasons). Geep decided to reuse them anyway, disregarding any potential safety reasons that Apple found not to be repairable. As much as I'd like to say that Apple is in the wrong here, I trust Apple's quality control guidelines over some device recycling company executives trying to make some extra cash.

I've experienced some of my Indian coworkers criticize BLM, which was a bit surprising. I don't know what caste they belong to, though.

Is this really going to make a difference then? Most Venezuelans I know with Wells Fargo accounts are using US mailing addresses even if they don't live in the US. They use a friend's address or use a mailbox service.

Go to Settings -> General -> Keyboards. If your language and phone support it, it should say "You can use Dictation for {language} when you are not connected to the internet." below Dictation Languages. It works since the 6s.

This may be anecdotal, but the homeless situation + shelter-in-place combination IS a nightmare. I live it every day and I cannot describe it any other way. I didn't mind it when I spent 14 hours a day out of the house working, but I am now living, breathing, and hearing it 24 hours a day and it is a nightmare. And it's not just that they are homeless, it's all the criminal activity that radiates from the encampments right below my window.
I disagree that the city is hellbent on killing off its homeless population. If anything, the city is hellbent on improving conditions for them. The city has allowed encampments to remain untouched in many places around the city since the shelter-in-place started. They have even brought bathroom facilities to their encampments so that they stay in place. These bathroom facilities are supervised and cleaned by an attendant 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Again, I don't know why people think the city of San Francisco wants to kill their homeless population. Their policies favor the homeless population over the safety of families that live in neighborhoods other than the Marina, Pacific Heights, and North Beach.
How about doing anything but releasing violent criminals?
