You seem to make of happiness some sort of end goal of life. It is not, and should not be.
PayPal will be supporting BTC payments soon. BlackRock just announced providing exposure to BTC in some of their funds very soon.
You can use magisk to keep Google pay working on most phones still. (Works on my pixel 5)
The book is great and Matt Walker is one of the leaders in the field of sleep study. There are numerous studies backing what he's written - even though there were some inaccuracies with some of the citations & ways he presented some facts, that is entirely expected in a book presenting thousands of such facts, and the author is planning on fixing all in the upcoming revised edition.
True that the screen will be toast if trying to replace the battery, but I replaced both myself on my pixel (1) for £37.
Ad money off news stories is a rounding error in the rounding error of Bloomberg's revenue.
Can you provide some sources for the numbers?
On that last part, I will confess it's unclear to me what the greater moral failing is between the 100s of thousands of elderly deaths, and lost economic growth. It comes down to how much is actually lost of course, and while I do believe what we're collectively going for is a good middle ground, I think also a lot of people don't really understand the magnitude of effects of economic growth over long periods of time.
The difference between growth of 2% and 3% are enormous 50 years down the line, and may very well translate in many more deaths due to poverty and disease, as well as a great quality of life difference for billions of people (among many other effects).

If more people are interested to sell than to buy, that will create downward pressure on the price - even if in the end for every individual trade there is both a buyer and a seller, that is a sort of "overwhelming", if you think of the buyer as a (name, bid) pair.
I'm guessing because the content/comments are generally lower quality/effort.
Actually sounds like a pretty cool snack - I'll try that first thing next, thanks!
I am also convinced that nuts are healthy. Can you provide arguments otherwise? They are full of unsaturated fats, protein, and fiber, which, paired with an overall balanced diet, make them for sure a net positive.
I am looking at a whole jar of plum jam made by my grandpa with 0 added sugar.
My grandfather is 91 and uses WhatsApp and YouTube daily. He grew up in rural Romania, and his formal education stopped after middle school.
To some degree, yes, but a lot knowledge can be accurately summarised, and is also both useful in general and even necessary for the good functioning & growth of society. It's not even really about knowledge, it's more about ability - to think critically, to exercise empathy, etc.
The fact that the people in the other group see it differently doesn't mean they're right though. It doesn't mean either group is right, but at the end of the day one can still take a step back and evaluate the two sources/modes of informing oneself and decide that one is good and the other is bad - with respect to what we agree it's good to optimize for (forming more accurate mental models, being well informed in general and not being deceived either by others or self, etc).
You're reading too much into it - it's just a funny/relaxed/informal way of signing off.
There's also a lot of evidence that burning through loads of energy will reduce your life span. Eating less is always better than trying to burn more.
I would think that it is highly dependent on what you're burning the energy for... Surely if you eat more to maintain a fit body/lifestyle, it is likely to have a more positive effect on lifespan compared to eating less and living a more sedentary life?
Of course, an optimal balance needs to be struck between the two, but I am very curious on what the research says about this balance.
Sure, but some might be genetically predisposed to make more efficient use of calories (burn easier rather than store as fat). Which could make a massive difference.
I'd rather not make another trip to the shop
Students in poorer neighbourhoods don't have internet in the Netherlands?
Yes, comrade, you are so very right! It is much more useful for us to see the truth of how great China and it's future are! Truly there is no need to worry, the Party will take care of all!
What makes you say that?
Can you please recommend a book or something on these 5 traits and tailoring communication with people based on their personality ? It sounds interesting and something that would probably be especially useful for me.
Towards the end. Ctrl+f developer story.
Why is that?
I think she already has, for the better.
