The same thing it did in 1944 and 1904. Kill fascists before they kill you.

AI is now most of Hackernews, so the internet is now talking ghosts.
It's called domestic terrorism.
We should take all the money away from Petey T and the treason bunch, then.
Thats a funny way of saying killed with obvious malicious intent.
He's an Ai marketing scheme by some y-combo felons. Top-to-bottom, pre-planned commercial to distract from the copyright issues central to everyone's mind, the recent ruling on which only served to further illegitimize US courts, highlighting obvious conflicts of interest, skirting due process, and making every citizen question the efficacy of the current Republic and constitution in regards to protecting our personal liberties.
"Ghost jobs." Would anyone even notice, if this is already occurring currently?
The short answer is that a house is no longer a place to live, but an abstract financial asset. The problem with divorcing occupation and use from finance and ownership concerns remediation of grievances. The benefit of such a system concerns maximizing the building's utility. I'm personally in favor of a more boring housing market, in addition to automatic tenant enrollment in equity-sharing programs (ie, due to living in a building and paying rent, the person who experiences hardship and loses tenancy still has some small, depreciating ownership based upon what they paid as rent). This helps solve the problem of financial engagement for the less financially literate, in addition to enabling higher-density housing to be built.
I said democratic, so yes, Venezuela. Seems like the #1 undisputed world's largest oil reserve country would do absolutely fine, if they weren't actively under NATO embargo, using military force to prevent trade in their entire global hemisphere, so gullible Americans can't spout nonsense like this and form political identities from it.
Hey I've got an idea, let's artificially restrict the flow of USD currency behind oligopolists, then double-dip and own the company that makes it slightly easier to transact. Can I have a billion dollars now for inventing paypal cause I know HTML? I'm Peter Eat-your-meal, you should listen to what I have to say because I'm the smartest conman in the room.
Have we tried nationalizing coal, oil, and gas, and having a democracy so we don't get any more local coups from the financial hegemonic masters of said resources?
Everything you're describing would be ideal for management, but creating ideal outcomes and utility isn't the point of why we work in the US.
Forest, meet trees: my numbers are higher, so all the things humans find important that are the very foundation of the number being important don't matter.
It is first and foremost a story by a man that wished he had died with his sister, instead of surviving similar events of the story. Because if he had died, he couldn't go on to regret not saving her and would know he tried his best. Dying is the courage.
It's called depression, not burnout. It's an evolutionary response to factors in your life that lead you towards thanatos and away from eros, allowing you the super-power of obsessive negative thought and absolute joylessness (anhedonia), so you may bide your time and fight them with the abandon of one who no longer cares about their own safety. Some choose to call it a genetic disease. I like to think of it as a valid, genetic structure that happens to have some rough edges and expresses itself too readily.
Are the owners not also, extremely replaceable, moreso than the engineers? I think so.
Have you considered that perhaps you're kept middle-to-low-upper-class not because you're special, but because you'll espouse these exact beliefs?
In the simplest terms, there is more murder because there is less trust. Monetary, personal, institutional, future, material: true or not, the perception is enough.
A scene graph with script and domain-specific simplifications is a useful tool. It was basically Hypercard v2. Wish parts of the model were integrated into Web standards.
Yes, I'd like to know exactly what part of our current US government is tenable even from within. The only office I can think of is the unitary executive. The Senate was created in the founding father's own words to protect the "opulent from the many". The house is perpetually obstructed by this Senate, the likes of which smarter nations have discarded. But, even the house is captured in such a manner that citizens in more populated states have less representative voting power than slaves during the 3/5 compromise.
What other option is left, aside from rebirth? It's no coincidence that dark forces conspire to now "get out in front" of this zeitgeist and swap the baby in its cradle for something ugly.
Anyone else reading the NATO-ally scare of China's corporate social credit system as an attempt to discredit democratic feedback into our social structures?
It's not. You're mistaking the will to live and prosper with envy. People are correctly identifying all across the world that centers of power and capital are objectively worsening their lives, and they are taking action against them in their own, perfectly justified self-interest. The difference between that desire and greed is that greed cannibalizes the existence of others to sustain its own existence. No one is confused. We're seeing a revolutionary period approaching that will be comparable to "The Enlightenment." Let's hope it happens because I think the unavoidable alternative is 1000 years of darkness, another longer, world dark-age.
Nullify the jury of the people with the pitchforks.
Too many bubble-products, too many companies, too much brittle ground to stand on for a career that requires deep learning and bearing the total cost of that. It's not worth it after ~12 years. I'm exiting and would recommend the career path to very few, even with interest.
Oct 15, nationwide strike.
There's a concentrated corporate media propaganda effort in effect right now to conflate the rise in crime with the outright rejection of US police powers by the general populace.
I attribute react's problems to 2 things: not including state management in the lib, not deprecating old APIs for like concerns when updating major versions. I prefer Svelte or Vue.
Can my government simply issue me a card that looks like this, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonian_identity_card, wherein one side has an official ID chip and the other side has a user-managed chip for solvent identity? Then, we can all stop mucking about with this or trying to hock something.
How many miners are in China?
The Cooperative Non-Violent Public License, specifically limiting use to worker-owned cooperatives is wonderful. We should all switch.
