Please fix JS dependence (load more on server side, especially at first load, since your site doesn't render anything with JS disabled), accessibility, INP, security headers and structured data, and you'll then have a perfect, optimized marketing site for tech nerds. :) Love your brand, keep up the great work!
That's absolutely spot on! Thanks for bringing that argument up. There's a fine line between aesthetically pleasing but functional and artistically inclined and obscure when it comes to this, and it should really be up to the users' preferences. E.g. GMail got it right from the start: let the user choose their way of doing things. If the user wants 100 rows per screen or 10 rows per screen, who are you to deny the user? :)
I am 32 and switched to Product Ownership last year, after 15 years of design and front end development. It was, to some extent, nearly seamless since I knew the product and processes inside out after being a team leader in the same product. I guarantee you will face some unknown challenges along the way, but they will also make you a better developer if you ever plan to switch back (greater business and process knowledge is often what a developer needs to really shine, alongside the obvious tech skills).
Age brings wisdom and balance, which are mandatory in a management position if you want to lead, not merely boss people around.
So go for it!
