It's all about who you think is more likely to put you in a van. If you are an American it probably won't be the FSB. Different countries will vary on this decision.
It's a non issue if you don't live in Russia. Also not a coin flip. If you are outside of Russia using Russian based services is objectively better.
We could easily restrict them from selling in the US
You could easily ban foreign products from being sold on US web platforms. We have done it to a limited degree many times.
Why should a foreign marketplace get the same benefit of the doubt as a domestic market? Especially if those foreign markets belong to countries that are hostile to mine?
Classic Hacker News to complain about the market abusing the public's trust but when someone suggests a government make a change that benefits their own constituents over other countries it's down voted.
Literally the entire reason these products exist is to be a replacement for meat. A replacement should be as good as the thing it is replacing.
By lowering taxes and deregulating the economy.
Maturity is different than intelligence.
It's comments like this that convince me most programmers are arogant douchebags. Just because someone has a weird idea about an event that had almost no direct affect on the general population doesn't mean we should remove those peoples ability to have a choice in matters which will effect them.
Knowing more than someone else does not make you morally superior or give you more of a right to have a say in your own fate.
No it doesn't. Literally nobody would have to change anything.
Or the other more logical reason being that free speech platforms are typically only clones of more poput platforms which don't offer any more features or increase ease of use.
I think it's completely possible for a popular pro free speech platform to exist provided it is able to be more user friendly or have some other killer feature.
Unfortunately, both you, the media, and the looters keep forgetting the events are, as you said, history.
Terraria: Otherworld was a planned spinnoff version of Relogic's main game Terraria which never came to fruition. Redigit, the president of Relogic, has stated that if he can get 100,000 signatures, he will open-source the game.
You're not the only one. I'm this way too. However, I can listen to music while doing system admin stuff but for anything else I need absolute silence.
I am curious as to why you are willing to accept the scientific consensus on climate change while denying the historical consensus that communism absolutely lead to the death of millions. Seems like you are picking and choosing to fit your narrative.
Another question I have is can these people describe objects?
That's interesting because I frequently add Reddit to the end of my searches. Particularly when it's a niche topic and increasingly for regular topics. Apparently a lot of other people who are fed up with search engines had the same idea. It's a very unfortunate development but nowadays Google search is almost unusable for some topics.
When I take notes I take them with a laptop precisely because of the increased speed it provides. Usually I find that note taking in general is actually counter productive because it diverts my attention away from the lecture. As a result I want the note taking process to have a low cognitive burden so I don't miss what my instructor is saying.
I usually use Emacs Org-mode for my note taking and then refactor my notes once class is over.
If you don't want them I can take them off your hands for you :)
I think the terms of service is probably just written that way to avoid liability.
What bennifit would be gained by having seedless strawberries?
My dad is in his mid 60s and has been happily using Ubuntu for the better part of a year. He now no longer has to worry about most malware or windows updates interrupting his workflow. I think you are really overestimating the complexity of using Linux as a normal user.
Linux gaming has come a long way. Steam even has a fork of wine they are working on which is built into their client.
Just reinstall the OS
I don't think you can equate the teleportation station with sleep since sleep isnt a break in consciousness but more like a transition into a lower level of consciousness.
How do you manage having a circular desk arrangement in regards to space concerns. I can't imagine that the footprint of this type of setup is very efficient.
