Yup - typically referred to as layer 0. The ETH devs cant willy-nilly change the protocol and expect social consensus to agree. As a solo staker i also have the choice of which node and client to run (like you said).

Yes - completely agree. it is refreshing to go to a website, hit connect, and boom there is all my data! I think we are only brushing the surface of what is possible with web3. Cant wait for login support to sign up for social media sites.

Great question!

The penalties for being offline are equal to the rewards you would have earned. It is okay to be offline if you have minor outage for few hours or if you're moving and will be offline for a few days. You simply would need to go back online for the same amount of time to make your rewards back.

I am a solo staker. My machine churns through about 800 gb/month. I am a huge advocate for solo staking if you have the hardware and have technical ability. I work in finance not software engineering, and i was able to set a machine up with no issue.

The staking base rewards will go down as more stakers stake eth, however, after the merge to PoS (End of year target) fee revenue will be awarded to stakers in addition to the primary staking rewards.

I use that v moda mic with sennhesier hd598 open back. Had to mod them to connect them, but they’ve worked quite well for many years now. I might need to get a new mic because the volume control is starting to cut in and out if I move it too much. Great recommendation through!

I am not a developer. I am simply someone who is fascinated by creating software and websites. I remember taking a HTML/CSS class in high school 12+ years ago and it was one of the most fun classes i've ever taken. Didn't really know i could make a career out of it at the time, but i wish i did. With that said, i love visiting websites that are pure HTML/CSS. They are fast to load and easy to read.

As someone who works in Sales Commissions this was a great read. We do things quite differently such as yearly targets vs quarterly. These suggestions are great and straightforward to calculate until you have a large sales team. I wonder how many companies use a system to calc commissions vs using excel. We personally use excel and it can be daunting at times, but allows for more plan flexibility.

Im personally waiting for a good 4k HDR > 60Hz monitor that is USB-C. Would be perfect for gaming and office use plugging in my Mac & PC.

As a user of Apple Notes for personal and OneNote for work. What are the benefits of Notion - i have the app installed, but i always default to basic apple notes.
