The idea that Paris is more dangerous than any big city in the US is laughable, and any person that thinks otherwise or that believes anything that Trump spouts is either gravely uneducated at best, or an absolute moron at worst.

It has nothing to do with reddit being 'hardcore-leftist' as you put it, and more to do with the sad state of the US nowadays. Also, try saying anything remotely moderate on any right-leaning sub and see how that works. Really depends on the sub you're browsing.

Also, my anecdotal experience is very different than yours: not a day goes by without me reading some imbecilic comment about american exceptionalism, and where other idiots (I think you'd call them "patriots") gather to upvote/outbid said comment, particularly on large subs.

Yeah I try FF every 6 months to see if the scrolling has improved and each and every time I go back to using Chrome after a few days. I wouldn't say it's bad but it's noticeably worse than Chrome and I just can't get over it.

Exact same thing for FF on Android.

I could link many other links showing Java as an extremely widespread language. There is just nothing comparable in the corporate world.

I see a lot of hate for AMP, and rightly so. I've been able to get rid of it completely on my Android device with two tricks:

- Changed my browser for Kiwi browser : very close to Chrome but with some neat features, one of them being to automatically redirect AMP links to original links

- deAMPify is a way to redirect AMP links from any other app than the browser

I really wish there was a way to opt-out of AMP as on iOS you're definitely SOL

No difference that maybe you can perceive, but I for one find the scrolling a lot more sluggish on FF than on Chrome, and that's on a SD 845 device, which is the latest and supposedly greatest Qualcomm chip. I just can't use FF on Android, and that's a shame because the desktop version is very good.

The first 2 positions I looked at randomly were for experienced resources.

I've been using DO for my VPN needs and it's been a very good experience. You can start a 5$ Ubuntu droplet, which is more than enough to host OpenVPN, and then configure your VPN manually. Check here :

Yeah definitely! No later than yesterday was I asking myself how I could measure the latency of my bluetooth controller connected to my retropie setup. The latency seems quite high and I find myself struggling to play Super Mario World correctly. Now I can tell if it's a technical issue or more of a 'getting old' problem.
