Why not remove all the line feeds and make it one line of code? Much more impressive then!

Been writing software since the old-days.
Investing time and money into iOS is a risk. Period. This isn't new. Anyone who gets yanked out of the apple's walled garden knew it was a possibility before said investment took place.
It's hard to feel sorry for anyone who gets put through this.
Mashable?! I know it's last in the list, but come on. I can't take your list seriously now. Mashable... Ha.
I'm about over the term "internet of things" -- it's starting to irk me like "information super-highway" does.
Whoever posted this is an asshole. Period.
You link a page that explains what's going on and give a warning about clicking the link.
You don't link the exploit directly so anyone using an iPhone blue screens.
Doesn't mean they aren't testing said feature.
"14-year-old creates eco-battery with aluminum foil, old guitar strings, and club soda."
Because aluminum foil, old guitar strings and club soda are so prominent in 3rd world countries.
And also... How come I didn't win 25K for my 6th grade science fair projects?
And it was an amazing phone executed so well that they couldn't keep it on the shelves. /s
Seriously. Are you that dense?
"The Kim Kardashian Game , Kim Kardashian: Hollywood – Has Made $43 Million in 3 Months"
Yeah... No thanks to Blackberry.

Is there anything this chick won't do for a buck?
And why does the tech segment even give a crap?
Thanks for the link as the linked article is paywalled.
The 500$ cartridges are the ET carts. All the other ones are about 50$
I think the ET carts are the most expensive since that's why they started to dig in the first place.
Exactly ... Back to basics.
Just learn how to use the terminal in its default form. We've been doing it for years efficiently.
I don't get it?
He didn't initialize a struct properly, results in errors...
Conclusion: C is evil?
If it were a celebrity or any other high-profile citizen, you know they would bring out the SWAT team and the criminals would be locked up for 20 years.
But, when it's a "nobody important" tax paying citizen, then go f-yourself.
Congrats goes out to everyone who voted in the current representatives.
Wonderful job.
Absolutely not true.
My iPad was unplugged by my kid during an update and the iPad shut off.
2 weeks later I had my iPad back from he Apple Store after it was bricked.
What I'm saying is that PICNIC will happen no matter what device your using. Calling out MS for rolling back after a user mistake just shows you aren't a fan of MS and will jump at any chance to knitpick them.
What happens if you power off an iPad (or any other device, for that matter) in the middle of a system update?
Atleast his mistake didn't brick it and Windows was smart enough to make sure that didn't happen.
This is just the beginning.
Anyone who has account information stored in their care should pull it now.
Because chat rooms from 1998 are such a novel concept.
Damn you, facebook!
It's a shit business model to rely on Google or apple got your pay check via the App Store.
I've said it 1000 times. There is a story like this once a month where an entire company gets shut down because you get on apples's bad side or google decides they no longer need you.
Walled Gardens are shit. Even on google. Android is "Free and open" my ass.
As privacy is a major issue with my livelihood and my business, I think I'll avoid anything with Dropbox. Especially when it's baked in.
If that's actually the case, then use KDE.
What does your comment contribute? It's about as useful as the apple/Samsung "my wiener was longer first!" Argument.
Who cares.
I don't get why people vear from "Courier New"
It's the greatest fixed-length font yet created for writing code! Period!
This is what happenes when you write apps for a walled garden.
It's a risky business. This is a good lesson for investors as well. When you have a sole company deciding your fate, stuff like this will happen.
This isn't the first time this has happened, and it won't be the last.
I feel bad for the guy, but this is the risk we take when writing apps for apple.
Did apple claim to invent it? I think their claim to fame was that they were the first to popularize the PC. The first to build an empire based around the PC.
This article sums up the very definition of "First World Problems"
I was being facetious :)
I don't play minecraft... So I have no idea how this is "cool" or "neat"
The comments in TFA show a lot of enthusiasm.
Can anyone explain?
It's there to show scale. Like when people put a penny next to an object in a photograph.
Apple's App Store is just... Horrendous.
That thing needs a massive re-working. There are plenty of us who have released apps, games that were great, only to be buried by apps that were terrible.
The cream definitely doesn't rise to the top using the current App Store model.
It's just a fricken lottery at this point.
Cached wasn't working for me, here is a snapshot from the wayback machine:

Wasn't this similar to a plot on "Friends" -- I think John Favreau was the actor.
