I run kubuntu on my home computer with snapd removed and have 0 issues running JetBrain products.
What issue are you having ?
I've installed IntelliJ via Toolbox. Prior to that I did install it using the archive they provide.
This was my first thought.
"Keeps cpu under 70C under load"....okay great how does this relate to passive cooling, hsf, liquid cooling, etc.
I suspect the numbers aren't great when compared next to the listed above, and this is just a marketing piece for the product.
Hiring full time employee would cost Uber a lot, it's exactly why they are using their current model. It saves them in taxes, insurance costs, liability, etc etc.
It's a crooked model which shouldn't be allowed.
I read vitriol as virtio and was throughly confused for a few minutes.

Firebase is stupid easy to host static sites on. I think it's like 2-4 cli commands.
Only downside: it's Google.

90% of Linux usage is rhel based (personal machine is fedora). And the other 10% is aws Ubuntu.
Id saying get good at 1 and know thr basics with tht other.
This is useful for processing large chunks of data like audio files (look at Superpowered sdk) but breaking em down or when processing multiple files.

I think what you're paying for is someone to sync your calenders for you.
Similar to ring camera. You're just paying someone to make your cctv camera available to you over thr internet instead of you setting it up yourself.
I personally hate these services but some people would pay $/month for this convince.

WFH: swivel my chair to my personal computer and work on personal stuff.
Office: Google random things, take a quick walk to stretch legs, get coffee, look at phone.
One reason it might have been made public is because Microsoft may have ignored them.

To me it just looks like another way to get scam everyday and stupid rich people...
I think tech/team leads/PO need to be added to the list also. I've worked with tech leads that trusted me/team and ones that didn't trust me/team.
The one who trusted us always asked "why did you do it this way" and he'd would open it up as a discussion.
While the one who didn't, would basically say "no that's wrong. It needs to be done this way".... 2 weeks later after we would make all the changes that he wanted. He'd say "no this is also wrong, why aren't we doing this [insert implementation that we did initially]".
You can do this with very easily with github action (or any CI) and firebase. It's what my team has been doing.
Whenever there is a merge into dev, it github will build and deploy it to firebase that everyone has access to on the team.
Before I pirated PS I used GIMP.
After years of pirating PS, I ended up paying Adobe for 6+ years for Adobe CC because PS and Illustrator didn't even compare to GIMP/other softwares.
If they had perfected the DRM, and wasn't able to pirate. I don't think I would have ever paid for it.
There really isn't. Most people wouldn't put in the effort to get an order fixed, especially in a large cities because of the delivery times.
To the company its just the cost of down business.
