Even the poorest [GDP per capita] European Union states have literally multiple orders of magnitude bigger state budgets than ES. Getting homicide rate in Americas under the US average is a huge achievement, especially given how quick it was and how hopeless it seemed just a few years ago.

These 700 million were the difference between life and death for many El Salvadorans who couldn't get their pensions or healthcare payouts raised with the inflation. The conversion might not be as efficient but all cars having a 350km battery for the rare occasion when they leave the city 2-3 times a month seems like a bigger waste. This is standard in Node.js ecosystem and I love it. Each package has scripts in package.json that you can run with npm run [name], and some of these like start, test or build (and more) are standardized. It's really great DX.
