Oh, this makes me feel bad for Baltimore. Only bad news seem to come out of this town. Its reputation -- both domestically and internationally -- is mostly informed by The Wire, Freddie Gray/BLM, a dysfunctional city government, the 2019 ransomeware attack, the spoiled batch of J&J Covid vaccine... and now this. It's a real shame. It's a good place.

Well, this gave me a chuckle. But I feel like it might foster a "waiting for prince(ss) charming" effect, where you swipe away anyone who you're not absolutely enamored with. There might be an argument that being able to swipe right on anyone (and maintaining multiple conversations with them) leads to "giving more people a chance." An app like this might have the opposite effect and make the entire experience more superficial altogether.

There was no proof to say it wasn't self-defense. The Verdict was accurate.

That being said, Tragic situation.

I think Hacker News' name policy is just about right. Its public enough that we don't have things going on like 4chan, but its not public to the point people are afraid to comment their opinions.
