I think (as others have mentioned) downvoting introduces issues like for example downvoting articles around the one article you want upvoted.

Robinhood's job is not to police transactions it is to process them. That they would do this for a few million $ in potential customer support time is so naïve.

I received the print a couple days ago and for about 1/5 of what the funeral home would have charged for the same thing, even after editing. So there are definitely some great shops on etsy but I did have to look around a lot to find a shop which could deliver this in under 2 weeks.
I am having a hard time finding where it states that web workers are treated the same as threads managing visual content. Currently timers in background threads are throttled to 1sec minimum interval however workers are not bound by this constraint. I may just be missing something, but I sure hope not. This would adversely impact many games and applications rendering many of them unusable without the web worker exclusion.
I see no problem with the Wording of this study. Firstly the study is not trying to go so far as to determine the reasons for such results. That is it is not statinng the reason behind why ltrs have lower testosterone.
Instead it is seeking to determine "[...] whether being in such a relationship (rather than being married) is the meaningful predictor of male testosterone levels."

Agreed, I am currently attending a state school and very few of the professors emphasize the importance of self study. Learning to learn is more important than any piece of information college has to offer. The fact that MIT puts part of the learning burden on the student is another reason that the students go on to do great things. The professors are in part readying them for the real world.

Additionally if the AI can beat the turing test then comparing the posts would not be practical. Passing the turing test signifies that it is not possible to distinguish the comments from human comments by looking at the comments alone.

When looking at which company is more hated in the US I would completely agree that ISPs are towards the top of that list. Not only because of their large scale poor performance and price gouging but also because unlike Blackwater many people are directly affected.

From a security standpoint it seems like an absolute nightmare. If you lose the password to your email you could lose access to all your accounts.
Most people do not own their own email server and so this could have catastrophic security consequences.
Of course the sites could check for IP location consistency but in order to spot security threats early you would need to track logins to multiple sites. The only way to do this would be to either give another third party company the ability to track logins and implement fail safes. At that point it begins to operate a lot like the companies which allow third party authentication through Facebook/Twitter/Email.
