Image generation is the least interesting and most concerning aspect of AI.

I see lots of useful tools made related to translation and code generation, but image generation seems to be primarily used to deceive, harass, or embelish to the point of questioning what the point of a photo is anymore anyway?

-I am keenly aware of so many environmental warming triggers that indicate irreversible exponential climate change acceleration in 2030.

-There is nothing I can do; everyone in power to do something is corrupt and actively working to accelerate it.

-I have forseen death on scales beyond your wildest dreams so much sooner than you think

I think this is a pivotal moment for LLMs.

Gemma 4 and Qwen3.6 27B aren't perfect, yet they are such a step forward from the previous generation that it's both feasible to get stuff done locally with patience and very likely that future releases will subvert cloud capabilities entirely.

Plus, they have definite reliability advantages over cloud models that can be wiped out by a government order or lobotomized to handle traffic surges.

Im more interested if we'll be able to load this OS on old Windows laptops or if it's hardware locked via software checks.

Excited to try this, the Qwen 3.6 MoE they just released a week or so back had a noticeable performance bump from 3.5 in a rather short period of time.

For anyone invested in running LLMs at home or on a much more modest budget rig for corporate purposes, Gemma 4 and Qwen 3.6 are some of the most promising models available.

Kinda yeah, much like how Americans are taught that they are a bastion of democracy, yet your convoluted electoral system has led to multiple instances of your president losing the popular vote.

The past decade has led to the scales falling from my eyes as I come to understand just how incredibly stupid and short-sighted people are.

Even worse, there is a direct correlation between the most stubborn people being the most short-sighted, as they refuse to change course no matter the cost.

Then those investors are but an albatross to weigh down and smother progress.

User engagement, app downloads, general public awareness, and positive perception have skyrocketed.

OpenAI is in danger of collapsing under the weight of unfilled promises. Anthropic has been humble in comparison while still delivering marked improvements with each iteration.

I am very sorry, but a lot of innocent people will die for no fault of their own, because awful people run the world.

Get water, food, batteries, and keep your phones charged while you can.

There is no safe place.

If any entity had a goal to hamstring research progress in America and get away with it, due to it being unnoticeable in the sea of regular shootings and political upheavals, there would be no better time to do so.
