I'm working on a financial education IOS app, to teach young adults how to manage their money through the power of storytelling and games. Think Duolingo mini lessons but financial education lessons instead.

Hi! I have utilized your webapp to type in English -> portugese but it will not let me progress even after typing the description/word out.

Recommendation: I would recommend to make a list of the top 625 words from fluent forever: https://blog.fluent-forever.com/appendix5/ As well as when you type errors that come up highlighted in red. For example, I often use https://www.keybr.com/.

If you would like to make this more gamified, you can also add an audio component where people will have to type what they hear (they'll get corrected with the correct spelling after their attempt)

Neat idea! If you'd like to talk more, I'd be happy to chat (email: kaseyc327@gmail.com)

Hi pcauthorn, I would recommend to read some of paul graham's work "Do thing's that don't scale", as well as begin reading/watching some great information on entrepreneur published on yCombinator youtube channel. The best way to meet someone who has problem that needs to be solved is to get experience in that field and interact with people who are currently working in that area. For example, if you are interested in working in applications for food service, try working in bars/restaurants around your area and find out what the pain-points are for these restaurants.

In regards with meeting someone currently I am participating in yCombinator StartUpSchool program, where they allow you to meet other founders/hackers with similar skills and goals.
