Look around you at all the plastics. Even coal has great promise as a building material. Infra-red cameras are used in the LeapMotion controllers. I don't think it is anything special about the spectrum however, coupled with Infra-red lights it's an easy way to cut down on the noise in the comtrollers field of view.

Hola, thx for response! 2nd episode of 2nd season. I'd also read those interviews, and so decided to give the second season a shot based on them. However, the first couple of episodes seemed to double down on the "homage". It sounds like I should give it another couple of episodes, so will do. But, I just can't help but be turned off by the breadth and depth of similarites. But, will give episode 3 and 4 a shot.

Are you aware Fight Club was first and foremost a book? If you've had the opporto read the author's other books you'd likely distinguish a vein of an original artistic contribution that run through his material, straight through to Mr Robot. I'm speaking specifically of the philosophy here. So to also adopt the plot and style so heavily, I just can't.

So for someone to dismiss out of hand with so little consideration, as you did, the artistic licence which was taken with the material in this instance, and then to follow-up without considering my follow-up comment, that is condescending in its own right. Just google Fight Club and Mr. Robot. There are plenty of interviews with the creator of Mr. Robot where he explicitly discusses the Fight Club connection. Straight from the horses mouth.

In order to do this they start an undetground club that collects members who band together to accomplish this task, who are not totally in the know regarding the immaginary friend. In the process one of the main members of thr club is shot in the head and dies. There is a woman who has a very close relationship to the main character, who is central to plot development, who is portrayed as being very antisocial and rowdy.

I could go on. Sound familiar?

Agreed. Between this and dropped support for Moto G/E, Google is proving to be super flaky, and which has diminished my desire to invest in any of their hardware.

I recently did some research on Adderall, methylphenidate, modafinil, and selegiline as I'm diagnosed add-inattentive, ran out of insurance and thus medical care and scripts. I was looking for nonprescription alternatives. This is a fascinating alternative. Also, from what I learned, Adderall is a horrible substance. It's way stronger than even cocaine. I'll never touch it again, especially considering the alternatives available.

And to say that "when I mature" I might choose differently... One can be mature without being moribund. One can be wise and still be progressive or even radical. I think you missed half my point, as well. Doctors do take risks with patient's persons all the time. The risks are often taken with the patient's person over the doctor's credentials. My father is on 3 blood pressure meds and hus doctor refuses to try a new regimine that would only require 1. Wtf. The number of complications that are introduced with 3 medications is absurdly risky, but the doctor won't risk a switch. And this is all covered during a 5 min conversation. People soend more time arguing with mechanics about automobile work.

As a society we praise workaholics for being productive, look up to PhDs for casting off years of relationships and life experiences in order to become an expert, and put athletes on pedestals for pushing their bodies to the limit. And even though for the vast majority of people for whom which increased working memory and attention span would mean better education, better professional results, and thus better pay, healthcare, and better general quality of life, and we just shut down the conversation. No, we are told. You can't. Discussion over. Period.

The credit card model is a major departure from classical banking, so I wouldn't consider it a valid counter argument here. In my experience donating time or money does not change the systemic causes of the issues. You will forever be donating. For real,sustainable change a different society must be built, whatever that might look like.

Lastly, is the author completely unaware that not all business models try to maximize "eyeballs", or customers and that some attempt simply to maximixe revenue or profit.
