I mostly read the site on a tablet and the font sizes are microscopic, especially in the comments.

As I've said before, every time a new "eevann fasterr!!!111!!" version of Chrome [for Android] is released:
What's the point of making incremental speed improvements to the browser whilst continuing the policy of not supporting plugins [eg. a good ad blocker]? On most sites, any gains in page rendering times are more than offset by the additional burden of downloading all the additional trackers, adverts, etc.
Until Chrome for android supports plugins, I'll continue to use Firefox across all my devices, even though I prefer Chrome on the desktop.
Funny this should come up now.
I'm on holiday at the moment and have been having geek fun by SSHing into a raspberryPi back at my home [in a different country], taking photos with its camera and uploading them to Google Drive where i can view them from here.
It did idly cross my mind that this kind of setup had the potential for "remote control" crime. I expect we'll start seeing more of this sort of thing, in future.
"Activits"? Some kind of health supplement, I guess?
What a load of bollox!
Hooray for Scitland!
[wherever that is?]
Ireland. The only country in the world that sucks American dick, harder than Britain does.
Fucking nauseating.
Well, it may be difficult to fathom what this project is all about but, at least, I've learned one thing. I've been spelling FUCHSIA wrong all these years. I always thought it was FUSCHIA.
[As I have several growing in the garden, this is an important development]
Everything's "trans" these days.
Not again!
Strange definition of "sensible" you've got there. It read more like a petulant teenager's froth-lipped rant, to me.
What is point?
Just look the info up on the UK government's companies house website:
That's all I need. That fucking pustule on my search results, spreading to the other language I read the internet in!
Wow! —did they set out to deliberately make that the most annoying web page in the world? Don't think I've seen so many flashing, scrolling, distracting things since Geocities bit the dust.
I'd like to learn more about how you "Laughtered" a chicken. What sort of jokes do they like? Presumably they've all heard the one that starts "Why did the human cross the road?"
TOML #because it allows comments
Young prossies earn more than old ones. Incredible!
I hear Professor Sohn is now seeking funding for research into whether or not the Pope might be predisposed towards Catholicism.
Windows 95 and aesthetics.
Er... OK.
Can't believe I wasted time reading that crap, instead of getting on with some work.
Looks great!
Oh, wait. It doesn't actually exist.
I thought it was a "mourning" thing and was trying to find out who, known to the HN demographic, had died.
It's it not that?
"set to" not "said to"
<sigh!>
Jesus H! Is there anything that doesn't upset Generation Snowflake?
The sky is gender-biased and transphobic, because it's BLUE instead of PINK. People are inherently racist, because they like playing with WHITE snow, but stand on BLACK tarmac.
Can we have some sort of "actually exists" flag for HN? I'm sick of clicking on stories about interesting sounding products, only to find I'm actually taken to some crowd-funding campaign page.
If you give me enough money up front, I'll probably find a way to start breeding unicorns that shit gold bars. But I'm not going to be penning "Unicorn Excretes Bullion" headlines just yet.
Judging by the map mock-up, that is a massive land mass. It would also push the Netherlands well into territorial waters claimed Britain. This has got to be a non-starter. It's either a speculative article or the [pretty messed up] auto-translation is way off the mark.
Any genuine Dutchies care to chip in with an explanation?
Notebook "players"?
Can't say I've ever tried getting a tune out of my laptop. Might have to give it a go.
Ironic that an article on "mobile design trends" is almost unreadable on my tablet because of the microscopic font size
Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase Poo[h] Sticks.
I misread that on my phone's tiny screen as a "$4,88" deal. Even then I thought it was a lot to pay for... er... whatever it is that Yahoo does these days.
Reminds me of this:
