There are no "100% safe" solutions. There will always be weaknesses and vulnerabilities in any system. The sort of criminal who requires or expects 100% safety is quickly going to be caught due to being a dullard. Knowing you're never truly "safe" is what good criminals are keenly aware of at all times: you can plan and prepare for certain eventualities. Once you think you're "safe", it's the beginning of the end.
I'm in the same boat; diagnosed with ADHD-PI (UK, so we don't use the term 'ADD') as an adult. I've improved vastly thanks to medication and good routines but it remains a constant effort, and improvement is a continual process. The book Taking Charge of Adult ADHD by Russell Barkley helped me significantly.
I thought that too, but perhaps only personal data is deleted irrecoverably, allowing them to retrieve other/periphery account data; maybe an account's "fans" aren't considered personal data, for instance? I'm not familiar with TikTok, admittedly.
Otherwise, perhaps there was some delay on account deletion?
Why wouldn't the EFF concern itself with the careless and disorganised response of a digital company to online privacy legislation?

Oof, yeah, that one's something else entirely. I don't tend to mind these newer formats, but I'll admit I'm not a fan of that one.
Reader view in Firefox has always worked flawlessly for me with BBC articles, including these "funky" ones. It's a godsend.
Is there a reader view/mode in Chrome, or is it only supported via extensions?

Yes, I worded that poorly. I meant loading Piwik's UI; it was cripplingly slow and often timed out. I had little luck in narrowing down the cause, but it was hardly a thorough investigation on my part, IIRC.
I tried Piwik but it seemed so cripplingly slow. Trying to load the analytics often took minutes.

Opinion pages are clearly set apart from news reporting. In The Guardian, opinion pieces appear in the "Comment is Free" section.
It oughtn't be. You might not like their opinion pages -- yes, they're typically left-wing -- but The Guardian's reporting is absolutely top notch; amongst the best in the world.

That's a line pushed by large corporations to convince people that money saved through tax avoision is somehow benefiting the consumer. Companies should pay their fair share of tax.
Moreover, the argument makes little sense when dealing with companies like Google and Facebook. The average consumer isn't paying for access to Google Search, Gmail, or Facebook...

Apparently there have been a few studies, and a thesis, investigating "dyslexic fonts", which found no real benefit. I can't find any evidence that OpenDyslexic and the like are helpful, meanwhile.

Even here in rural Devon in England, nothing running in our libraries is particularly old, and there's nothing truly "ancient" left at all.
There are already significant seaweed farms in Japan, and farms exist in China, Korea, Fiji, Zanzibar, and even the UK.
Because most people here are rather left-wing, and I feel that the majority of lefties hold the US military establishment (rightfully, IMHO) in very low regard, due to recent activities and engagements — e.g. the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the bombing of Libya and Syria, and so on.
Not to imply this is only a position of the political left; it's my experience, however, that left-wing folk, including myself, are not exactly overflowing with praise for the US military...
