It is also possible to perform different computations on each calculator. This function comes in handy when the user wants to compare prices to determine which store product is cheaper by the gram, for example.

This adds another use-case outside of the M functions on a standard calc :)

Is there a resource / someone’s Medium who will break down all of the legit manufacturers? I’m aware of some for RPi like Jeff Geerling has great microSD card reviews

Btw I went with Anker because it had the least reported issues from Amazon (after extensive filtering on my part)

The problem in America was RadioShack (before went out of business) as a brick and mortar store was also rebranding crappy wired products that would go out too.

I find it strange that a braided-cable charger from places like Target will go out before the Apple manufactured one

There are probably a few regional stores like Fry’s that have good electronics though, but their numbers are dwindling

I love how all the highest rated “Amazon’s Choice” items for a USB-C Hub all have Q&A feedback saying the HDMI port doesn’t work, but the reviews saying the same thing get scrubbed

How do we even find reliable dongles/hubs these days

This (bad cache) used to happen with misconfigured shopify sites and had the same impact as described

I’ve been here for quite a while, and I’ve learned more from this community (which included developers across the planet) than I’ve learned from any other community online.

I’ve known PG’s biases and dogwhistles for a while ("What you can’t say" is a FOGHORN of a dogwhistle), but the political landscape has changed.

When PG is expressing open regret for opening this forum, despite dang doing most of the work, he’s signaling that the discussion of this forum isn’t going in the direction he wants. This has been the most civil forum on the surface web for a long time. And that says a lot.

This actually illustrates an interesting point about think tanks.

Amren may have never done a lynching, but the shadowy nature of how think tanks can launder money may implicate an associated group in modern-day lynchings covered up by the police[0].

The Koches, one of the largest financiers of right wing groups was built oil refineries for both Stalin and Hitler(the reich’s second largest refinery). They scrubbed the latter from their corporate history and were never tried at Nuremberg.

As it stands today, an average high school girl attending a BLM protest from twitter is likely surveilled far more heavily than Taylor or Anglin from the revelations in new surveillance articles. And that’s terrifying.

The main problem (and again, I shouldn’t be doing a value assessment of Quilette sticking to my original point, but you’ve asked) is that Quilette “scholars” seemed to have started from 1700s race research, jumped to Jim Crow-era race research, and seemingly skipped everything before and after The Bell Curve(1994) research that does not suit their argument of genetic determinism.

To my initial point, value-arguments aside(I’m certainly not going to convince you), does an African developer want to seek out Quilette to publish?

HN downvotes me because Claire Lehmann is a Paul Graham darling, but the only thing "Libertarian" about Quilette is the fact they bypass violation of the NAP with the argument the black people are either (A)not people or (B)"less than" people.

Not surprising, HN loves Claire and her Murrayan novelists.

Here you go[0].

Out of the links I shared[parent], the former link takes a deep dive into Quillette authors (one of whom wrote the article I cite below), the latter delves into the actual arguments they make in advancement of "neophrenology".

To reiterate my initial comment (I am not here to make a value judgement on phrenology), this does not seem like a publication the OP would like to submit to.
