They abandoned their armies because the continent outsourced defense spending/industry to the United States and Russia following WWII.

We outsourced our defense spending to Russia?

Are you incapable of embarrassment over your own level of ignorance?

No.

The moral dimension is also completely illusory. Ukraine is fighting a war of attrition that's funding is due to the same cold-hearted power politics that Russia subscribes to.

Blatant gaslighting. Ukraine is defending against an invasion. Russia has said it wants to go further and take what it can of Europe, states that the Baltics aren't countries and threatens us all with nukes on a daily basis.

In Europe we defend ourselves by funding Ukraine.

It is super simple; Russia attacks when it is strong enough and takes what it can.

We tried living in peace, we believed in it. We basically got rid of our armies in Europe, since everybody knows how to live in peace. Except Russia.

We will not make that mistake again.

A counter argument is that this is just a small pension company.

If all Danish Pension Funds etc. decide that we better divest because of imminent war, we are talking way, way more money. I have no idea how much, but Danish pensions are big.

This may indeed be a warning shot.

I think there's a good chance demand goes up in Europe.

We are going to need to de-risk our software dependencies, and Germany is going to need to use computers.

Germany is going to be crazy, I think.

Target audience is probably especially anyone not in the US?

It is beginning to look a lot like war is brewing between Europe and the US over Greenland. US media working super hard to make an "acquisition" sound reasonable and "FreedomTM".

Uh, Novo is having an absolutely massive firing round; the CEO got axed first and Denmark now has a glut of qualified unemployed which we're all doing our best to hire ASAP :D (we just had the lowest unemployment rate in our history)

(Novo hired _way_ too many people because 'infinite money')
