Unwanted Corkpull 5 years ago

And why would you not have the multiple corkscrews in different places i.e. one next /with the drinks cabinet/ tray or one in the dining room

I have a folding waiters corkscrew included in my work and home took kit and a multi tool with a corkscrew in my laptop bag.

:-) I can remember the excitement at the time over Java.

There was a massive Java event at the QE2 hall in London, I went to I still have the little metal pin of the Java Mascot from that event.

I have tried to use this to no avail the documentation (as usual is woeful) in the end I have brought a second sound card.

I want to use a daw to handle my audio for the online TTRPG's processing voice and playing back cues for when I am DM's

This functionality should be part of the core of windows audio - which given the rise in remote working improving the frankly crap widows audio should be a priority.

I remember seeing the early BOFH when I was working for Telecom GOLD (Dialcom) in the mid 80's.

I think the BOFH files may have come from the NZ Dialcom licensee originally.

But at the same point in our careers for the same equivalent we do not have the same $ and status as professions like law and medicine.

You are also confusing our broadly speaking "professional" jobs with some of those other examples and firefighters have early retirement and DB pensions in the UK

The mention of alcohol licences is very telling in the article and your comment - maybe some of the legacy of the founding religious cults needs looking at here.

Also look at the pic in article - its parking spaces that have been converted.

From experience in the UK its not patrons of restaurants with outdoor dining or drinkers outside of pubs in the evening that are the real problem.
