Founder of DocTijori. I come from a finance background and got tired of seeing sensitive documents uploaded to random servers for basic conversions.

I’m currently obsessed with building 100% offline, browser-based multiple productivity tools (e.g. a suite of 100% offline tools for converting Word to PDF, PDF Compressor etc. and extracting text from images without cloud uploads) to prove that we don't need to sacrifice privacy for convenience. Most of my time is spent fighting with WebAssembly and local DOM rendering.

I personally use it in corporate insurance business. Risk analysis of the client's portfolio, Drafting Risk slips, Policy wordings, Comparing multiple quotes and making a comparative quote chart for client presentation, policy audit... it just makes the life so easy..

Closing your source doesn't close your attack surface,it just closes the community that would have helped you defend it. Security through obscurity is a kind of tradeoff, not a strategy.. i mean that's what I feel.
