For me, it was Little Snitch blocking the request..

Same error as the others. Looks like auth is successful in popup window: "You can close this window".

Then in Kiro I see "There was an error signing you in. Please try again.".

This has been a topic brought up internally at Apple many times over the past decade. Glad to see it finally moving forward. Although I see the benefits to having a system-version of these packages.. if you're doing anything serious for production then the environment should be containerized.

I have their security suite (home unit, 2 door triggers (and it came with an outdoor cam). I love it. No issues, geofencing when I leave so I can enable the alarm (or when I come home). And the app is smooth as butter. I'm waiting for the doorbell now.

Or.. the harder it is to read, the more unlikely I am to read it. And will instead leave the page and find another source for the information if I care that much.

Although I understand the purpose of a new user having no data on first use I do not agree with it. Using a platform for the first time can be foreign and it eases the mind of the user if they can see what it would look like day-to-day. Maybe just have some test material and a very obvious button to wipe it clean when they are ready?
