Health Tech Product Builder here - thinking about expansion outside of the United States is a champagne problem that they can solve later and also:
lol on public option. We are barely keeping the lights on at the FDA, CDC and VA. The administration is trying to defund every public service it can think of.

It seems like the actual story here is entirely ignored:
Why are a bunch of journalists concerned with how fast they can send out a push notification?? is the world that creates that incentive healthy? What can we do to remove the incentive that led to people having this kind of a discussion on a slack channel while one dude is at a doctors appointment?
This seems like an utter failure of the editorial process in this case. Also the English language (and parentheticals) are hard!

Did 20 months in federal for selling cannabis. Also spent time in solitary. Conditions are far worse than you could imagine. Also, many prisons are functionally solitary so the 4% number is way low.
The economic networks in prisons are wild, and of course there are incentives for guards to participate.
Not only are there massive number of cell phones in prisons, there are cell phones in solitary because the guards smuggle them in.
Capitalism, what a thing, eh?
