This does not look good. The animation is weird. Why does it look like they do a few small frames of motion, then a hard stop to create the low FPS feel of anime. It feels really off. Anime already has an issue of low effort production, I'd argue there is an over saturation at the moment. AI isn't going to help tell a new or better story, but it will help churn out mediocre content faster.
Increasing the cooling setpoint of the system isn't exactly a new concept, nor is data centre scale water cooling. Computers can run hot and not throttle. Water is better at moving heat than air. Maybe its just me, but this P&E arch is underwhelming and screams similar issues AMD bulldozer again. Claims of massive core counts with mediocre performance, and little control over how things are assigned to the cores. Maybe that will improve over time with improved schedulers, but I doubt it. Its looks like an architectural issue. The experience feels so inconstant, even ending up worse than the prior generations with all normal P cores with lower core counts. I'm avoiding Intel P&E CPUs with anything that needs consistent performance, as my limited experience with the new Intel chips leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth, and a frustrating computing experience.

This doesn't account for the server they are hosted in, their CPU loads, losses in the PSU, which will inflate those numbers higher. Then there is the cooling, which needs to remove every watt consumed by the GPU/servers, as its all outputs as heat (multiplied by the PSU losses). Things are amplified further by the inefficiencies of the cooling process, including cooling the HVAC hot side (and the water consumption of the cooling towers), and building insulation.
Then the article only accounts for Midjourney, which is only one of the operators in this space. All the major tech companies have huge fleets of server working on this.

I'd argue that the quality of a fry/chip does depend on the type of potatoes used. My experience is frozen fries are mediocre at best.
Even on a commercial scale, its a peeling machine and a cutting/chipping machine, no worse than a mixing machine for making dough or similar industrial kitchen machines.

It fun just to watch how the system selects lines and routes around the exchange. Other interesting things, like how the dial and engaged tones are generated, and how prerecorded messages are played back to a number that is no longer in service, something like, 'This number no longer exists, please try again'
Isn't this how most IPO ends up going. Make self look good to shareholders by using the community to uplift the product. Then, set up walled gardens to begin extrapolating funds from the community, as shareholders want more cash flow, damaging the contribution rate/trust of the community. Finally, all out enshittification, its profits above all else, as the remaining contributing community have now bailed to a new, less draconian, platform. Now the Pi foundation needs to turn the screws on anyone that relies on the product in productive environments, to maintain the year on year financial growth.
This is a very cynical take on future events, but I wont be surprised if it goes this way, as was there actually a need to IPO? We already had a massive shift away from hobbyists to industrial/commercial clients, before the IPO, so I don't see it getting better for hobbyist/enthusiasts. Costs will increase more, as they will see how their industrial clients make money from using a Pi in manufacturing process, and so the shareholders will want more of that slice from their clients.
