Alternatively if you have plenty of time before the trip you could train someone to handle the business for you on a freelance basis.

I'm wondering how much you can eventually charge for a service like this, especially considering it would be fairly easy for competitors to replicate and undercut you.
It's a conscious business decision they have made, you can do whatever you want to with your business. As long as it looks right in all browser/os configurations I don't think your customers will mind.
