I can code and was planing on entering the field. But the writing was already on the wall.

Not being from the USA helps with this decision.

I was offered a payed internship at uk minimum wage. 18k per year at the time.

I got turned down because I asked how much. I was 25 at the time and trying to raise a family. After that the offerings got worse at the bottom. So it discouraged me from continuing with my degree.

I now code for myself and to automate my work. I get paid much better now than if I had of followed that path.

I can only imagine how the millions of cs majors are coping with this.

Why?

The military has access. Their government doesnt want the world seeing what they are doing. The are forced to blank it off for national security.

I canceled about two years ago. Most of the stuff on netflix has already been watched. The new content is hit or miss.

Better off paying for Disney and downloading the rest.

Most of the water still has fluoride in it naturally.

I'm am also in Ireland what is the price range for these bootcamps? I am studying software development part time (open uni) would it be worth getting into a bootcamp?

For anyone feeling depressed about earning top Dollar in a cosy secure job think of how it could be.. I am a student part time and work full time 6-6 in a factory getting covered in egg mess every day for £280 a week You heard that right not per day. Per week. I hope to become a developer someday. Work is work i will code for anyone who will pay me especially if the are offering a weeks pay per day to type at a desk in a nice office. My advice is to keep in mind that you are being paid for your time. Leaving would obviously as more stress to your life. So find something interesting to do side project or hobby until you can leave your current position. Also remember it could be a lot worse. You could be scrapping by on the bottom of the ladder.
