IT'S CALLED AN APPLICATION STORE, NOT AN APP STORE.

Apple did the "App Store".

It reminds me of the Crayon story. Seems simple: wax drawing tool. But wooo! Crayola had to give up the name.

Personally, it's a tough call. They are all Crayons, they are all App Stores. Not sure what the solution is.

I saw Amazon pull this stunt a few days ago. No respect for software developers? I think that's it!

Seems like the answers to the question "Why?" are laid out like a fractal. It just keeps going...

No, all bugs are not human error.

Some bugs are caused because the programmer cannot see into the future and determine that something they programmed will be used in a manner that was not intended (using a Hammer function instead of the new Screwdriver function).

So the bug is in the code that the programmer wrote years ago. It is not suitable for today and WOULD crash and create a bug if used that way.

But is there an error somewhere? No, the programmer just cannot see into the future.

It's great that there are people here offering up opportunities to do this. There's a Rails one up there, and if you can put that on your resume, it's a plus.

I heard there is excessive camp in this movie, but I'll check it out.
