Phew where do I begin?

From a sustainability POV, using living beings for milk production is vastly worse than a plant based alternative.

From a animal friendliness perspective, it abuses the same animals that would be slaughtered for meat, for long periods of time in cruel ways.

From a business and consumer POV, this limits your burger to only Omni and vegetarians, excluding the entire market of vegans, and people with dairy intolerances who would opt for this option instead.

All around a PR inspired, stupid half measure that is insulting at best.

I prefer to eat the vegan whoppers. I’m not vegan but don’t like eating trash meat of bad quality. Hadn’t been to BK in years, now it’s a regular option for me because I’m not disgusted by the bad quality meat and enjoy the occasional easy fast food burger.

I also buy Beyond Burgers for at home. I prefer them to many many other real meat burger patties from the super market. Beyond meat is delicious.

I’d like some advice please.

I am currently freelancing with one major client. I only work 3 days a week which is great and I make a good amount of money. Client is a small company, seems financially secure, but eh could also go belly up I suppose. They offered me a fixed contract but it would be for less money than I now make freelancing, +4 days a week. Should I take less cash and less freedom for the security that a fixed contract would bring (and eventual governmental support of the company goes belly up)?

YouTube also does this weird thing for me where, for example, I watch a couple of videos of an android related YouTube channel about new phones, and then it’ll recommend me videos from 2008 about phones being released then. Lol

After 7 years of android I switched over to iPhone. Largely due to the Google hate I experience here on hn. There is so many small annoyances on iPhone. Some things like hide my email, password management are brilliant, even if I need to use Safari, which I hate because I want to use Firefox for ad blocking. But iOS is objectively terrible. Notifications are so horrible. Support for my Garmin watch is awful. The jarring system sounds and don’t even get me started on the awful alarm sounds. Siri is unusable and the fact that I can’t change to another assistant is terrible. Apple Maps doesn’t even have biking directions in one of the most bike central cities of the world, amsterdam, lol!! Useless. Dutch is not supported in system wide translations feature, again I need to revert to Google translate. Keyboards for multilingual people are really really terrible. I need to switch between 4 languages every day. The fact that I need to switch between keyboards and then still have autocomplete fight me whenever I dare to use a word form a different language ( even simple ones like “yeah” which I want to use in German or Dutch as well ). The keyboard is so terrible as well. And then just things that make no sense at all. Why can I not see a battery percentage on the icon of the battery? I need to swipe control center down to see that. Why can I not see seconds in the time? Why can I not set two timers?????

I really really really hate iOS. It has things that are nice and better than android. But for anybody to think that it is a “complete and integrated” ecosystem makes me … laugh. Like it’s just objectively terrible.

I’m a homosexual man. I’ve been called out by woke friends because I’ve said that generally gay men are not attracted to vaginas. I’ve been called closed minded and a right wing asshole for saying that I would not date trans men, and that heterosexual intercourse will never be gay.

I have to keep these opinions quiet now because of the negative social backlash I’ve gotten.

I can’t believe we live in times where we have people in the lgbt community who criticize homosexual men as being “genital fetishists” for being attracted to only men of the same sex.

Has it really come to a point where people complain about “unchecked privilege” in the workplace? Sexism, racism, etc are of course all real issues in the workplace, but can anyone really take themselves seriously complaining about “unchecked privilege”? Do they want cishet white males to self flagellate every day? When did these things go from tumblr level insanity to real life?

I fundamentally disagree with your Coca Cola example. This is a prime example of introducing a new use case for a product which is traditionally associated with summer and warmer climates. It’s done directly to increase sales during the winter time and to associate the brand with Christmas.
