I’m not sure how I feel about a government incentivizing daycare. I’d rather all parents receive financial support, regardless of their childcare decisions.

With a pension system, if I die shortly after retiring, my heirs and I get nothing. Whereas if I save for my own retirement with a 401k, my heirs would get that money.

There aren’t really any ways to make 1 adult caring for 4 babies more efficient. Maybe robots eventually?
