I would rather have a permanent top-level tracking banner section built right into my browser as long as I don't have to write JS anymore. It's very high on my priority list.

It's more to do with people being shamed into not publicly stating their real intention to vote. This will happen in USA with Trump again.

1) To become as mainstream in a general-purpose way as OOP and functional programming paradigms are. One of the problems I know is lack of composability.

2) To become your favourite approach.

Hi Alan,

Could you please answer:

1) What is your opinion about Actor Model? Does it have a potential? What is the next step for OOP?

2) Do you think software of the future should be end-user modifiable?

3) What would be the Dynabook of 2016? Smart contact lenses with a gesture interface?

Thank you very much!

That's the biggest problem with adoption of academic-style (Haskell, OCaml etc.) functional programming languages.

The proponents believe that 'shorter = more readable'.

And if they would try to make it more readable it would start looking like Scala and C# (hence their popularity).
