I personally think its misleading and even when you start reading the page it links to is even more misleading in my opinion.

Every time any of LinkedIn’s one billion users visits linkedin.com, hidden code searches their computer for installed software, collects the results, and transmits them to LinkedIn’s servers and to third-party companies including an American-Israeli cybersecurity firm.

When I read that, I think they have escaped the browser and checking which applications I have installed on my computer. Not which plugins the browser has in it. Just my 2cents.

The GB/T is for charging and not in car connections. Tesla already has an arguably better connector NACS or J3400 now.

As for China having the most electric cars on the planet. I don't feel that makes them the experts. China tends to steal / copy technology from other countries and has little innovation them self from my view point. They have the most EV's from heavy government subsidies. Tons of cars in graveyards over there.

Making some assumptions here but I suspect most game developers outsource their anti cheat to a 3rd party and that is what you are running into. Some of the 3rd party anti cheat rootkit computers. Some are okay and some are just terrible.

Not trying to be 'that guy' but the first line calls out AWS and DriveHQ:

Cybersecurity threats are increasingly leveraging cloud services to store, distribute, and establish command and control (C2) servers, such as VCRUMS stored on AWS or SYK Crypter distributed via DriveHQ.

It usually gives you a very large warning that a drive is about to physically fail and advises you to try and backup the data if you haven't already.

I don't see stores continuing to stock items that don't sell long term and this product has been around long enough for the stores to realize this and stop stocking a non selling product. So in saying that I have to disagree with your observation.

Leaned on heavily to protect cheap IOT devices. Could you imagine the bot armies if every IOT device was NOT behind a NAT?

Tiktok pushes what you interact with the most. If you comment, if you heart, if you watch it and content like it all the way through it assumes its the content that you like and will give you more like it. If you see something you don't like keep scrolling. It learns and stops showing that content.

Personally the algorithm works just fine for me. If you interact with what you find is trash / comment / like it will show you more of that content. If you don't want to see it dont' watch it or comment on it. You'll stop seeing it and the items you WANT to see you need to interact with and you will continue to get more of that. If you watch / comment on suicide videos thats exactly what you will get in your feed.

The first line from the article: In March 2017, WikiLeaks began publishing thousands of files detailing the CIA’s spying operations and hacking tools. The leak, known as Vault 7, was the largest disclosure of classified information in the agency’s history. In April, Symantec publicly linked Vault 7 to an advanced threat actor named Longhorn. Kaspersky then announced it tracks the same actor as The Lamberts, and revealed the existence of an OS X implant called Green Lambert.

Do you remember the hardware that existed at the time, the GUI, the usability or non usability. There are two systems, IOS or Android. I really respect Apples rules and appreciate them. They stood their ground and prevented Cell Carriers from loading their phone with CRAP ware that is non-removable. Unlike android and any other flavor of phone OS that has existed. IOS when it came out was a true game changer. Its a very dominant player in the cell phone industry because of it.

The problem is the choice is taken away from you though. Just like he said with the game market. If you want to play Game A, you go and download/install Game A's publishing app store. If you want to then play Game B, rinse and repeat. You will be forced to use so many different app stores and won't have a choice to NOT use their app store "IF" it progresses like it has on the desktop. No proof it will/won't either.
