Can confirm that working with an editor was a game changer for me. I was surprised at how cheap it is too :o

How has your structured questionnaire influenced your writing? I've tried something similar before, it generally worked well, but I found it too constraining at times.

I've found that people have different learning styles. E.g. I'm not big on video courses. I'd much rather read one great book on the topic I'm trying to learn, then meet someone who's amazing at it to ask them a ton of questions and get their feedback on my implementation of what I've learned. I guess this is a long winded way of saying I learn by doing and with mentorship. I'm a Founder though—how can I give employees who learn like me the same experience?

Nice little collection of questions, I'll give them a go. I'm curious, what kind of responses have you seen to "Would this work in an environment like yours?" and why phrase it like this?

Nice stuff, thanks! Regardless of whether you go for the 'big-bang rebuild' or the slow and steady migration, you'll need to get engineers on the case at the cost of shipping new features. Most companies are at least half-decent at drawing a line between new features and revenue (or whatever their main measure of value is). How would you draw a line between paying back technical debt and value? In my experience, it's often hard to get people who don't truly understand technical debt on board with projects like this.
