I see the tide shifting from an unrelenting awe of law enforcement authority to a far more astute and cautious state that regards police with a guarded circumspection.

This is actually a healthy thing for those interested in American liberty.

All children should also be trained exactly opposite of what law enforcement teaches in the public schools. My kids talk to me first- NOT the cops.

Also, something not touched on in very many places is how close to get to law enforcement when they are out of uniform. My suggestion: arms length always, unless they are a close family member or you are as boring as a bag of green beans.

Society is chock full of prosecutors and citizens like the micro-brained David Cook who view almost anything 'natural' involving a youngster as 'sexual'.

The image you mention here only becomes porn-like due to its exposure to the non-medical mind. The image itself may not have been intended to be porn. His disappearance could be linked to simple fear from the irrational.

There must be an ethical and rational balance over the incredibly important aspects of research and science concerning the development of the young human.

Irrational social fear relating to any form of sexual development in the young can polarize legitimate scientific study in regards to youth psychology and physiology.

At some point one can cross from critical (and RATIONAL) exposition of credible threats and crimes to an absurd witch hunt which puts pedophiles behind every tree, image, or serious study.

Society already has a difficult enough time grasping how to cope with the sexual development of its young while at the same time horrified over scientific/medical exposition of said development.

Facebook is for cheap-ass squares. They will get the biggest bang for the non-existent buck with FB.

It is only the deviant evil bastards such as myself who steer clear of the site: the atheist in a sea of believers, the swinger in an ocean of conventional marrieds, the Libertarian government critic in a swirl of FBI and CIA FB meddling, the gay-rights supporter in a community of homophobes... Damn, and this is just the beginning.

The planet is in no dire straits for additional children. Remove this factor and the only use for binding someone to a marital contract is strictly for financial and emotional property reasons. The term 'soulmate' is as ambiguous and silly as the term 'god'.
