How about the truth that most communities are built around some kind of nonsense, and maybe you can deal with a bit of nonsense to enjoy the benefits of community?

family link is not enough, try disabling gemini and news access with it, and you cannot block shorts
Those landscape photos are a crappy hypnotic effort meant to try and dissociate Microsoft from the feeling most people have when they have to login on a Monday Morning.
This CSS is specific to the article. Not the same across the site.
If you're using cloud AI assistants, they're being heavily discounted to you by investors, for now. Those discounts won't exist forever.
We can’t trust general use self driving cars yet. Air traffic control is a bit riskier than that
....There's no trigonometry in common roof-slope-area calculations and designations, only pythagoreans. Rise over run, 6ft for every 12ft, etc.
I do feel your pain about vetting "professionals", especially living in a place that tries to prevent me from making my own improvements.
I'd say the API can take up to half a minute to propagate, so API updates every minute is running up against their own performance. If you're a free customer, they may block you after a while, but first they'd have to notice you, and I doubt one update per minute would bother them.
Cloudflare does this with an API. If you have any money, I'd suggest dnsimple.com instead.
Strange. This sounds like something Hurricane Electric specifically limited. There’s nothing in CGNAT that would naturally break such a tunnel
Fomenting nativist rage was exactly why Russia created the migrant crisis by destabilizing Syria. Im guessing you have a biased corporate media environment like America, too?
TikTok and Fox News and twitter and friends working as intended, sapping ambitions and attention spans and political wills.
Ask Bernie and AOC how that’s going
What you're seeing is capitalism, what you're dreaming of is a "free market", which can only exist under the right regulation.
Is there a link to the big quiet fan project?
Enshittification was an indictment of for-profit social media, but they're already irrelevant as they've been out-competed by state-sponsored social media like tiktok and twitter.
I could imagine a team that needed it, but most professional programming work does not require this level of memorization, I'd have to see the job description to know which side to take in this argument.
I sympathize with this goal, but I'm not seeing what to do instead of screens for kids. I've been looking, hard. Suburbia makes this really hard. try getting three kids to sports with two working parents, and thats only half the time you're trying to fill. Try to get any kind of regular playtime with other families who are busier than you. We kid ourselves we're keeping them off of algorithms, but craft materials only take them so far, and the rest will be filled with TV and video games when we are stuck working.
If they are actually nominally offering privacy over bing and yandex, while selling anonymous ads on that sticker, that is a valid USP.
I, actually run a 6 inch snorkel out from the basement with fine metal mesh clamped onto the intake. Reduces to 4 inch through the wall, then through a filter box, then through a 200cfm fan. You want 15cfm per person in the building to flush enough CO2. After the two filters, a 200 cfm fan will not be pulling what it’s rated for. You can either use a bathroom exhaust fan in reverse, or you can get quiet enough fans from “indoor gardening companies”. The dehumidifier is standard, nothing fancy.
If you're in a mostly humid area, like half of the US, It's better money to get a simple ventilation fan and dehumidifier. ERVs won't work half as well for 3-4x price.
I'm still not buying the claims made about ERV efficiency. As a passive device, they could only ever remove half of the excess moisture form the fresh air, and there's no way they're approaching that performance when the air passes through the diffuser in a quarter second.
Sure, use some Pokémon as placeholders during development, but, No one even bothered to dedicate an employee to preventing those assets from getting shipped?? Gamers already had their fun, too bad for any investors that they didn’t cover their bases
Not needing to worry about otherwise annoying details is the point of being rich.
I stir it when I first open the jar, then store it upside down in the fridge, which works great, I often just scrape what I need off of the lid, but I may try storing it sideways next, thanks.
For the food portion of that instruction, I'd tell people to "eat cells, not substances." Pasta and rice don't look good along that spectrum.
They were two cones with the same apex, even, just copied and stretched to make a forest.
This is exactly how I feel about factorio and any games that involved.
Pedestrians aren't customers, and deserve to die, and have their land replaced with more highways.
You both can be right, US Gov will write well-intentioned policy that none of their live teams can keep up with, even after 20 years, and I haven't yet seen a practical enterprise authentication architecture that doesn't fall back on passwords somewhere.
“Yeast extract” gets snuck into a lot of American foods. You just don’t see it as a standalone product much. Marmite goes into plenty of my savory cooking
