Well there’s your mistake. If there is extra context the reader needs in order to be sufficiently relieved of their ignorance to fully appreciate your post perhaps you should consider adding it.
I’m guessing you are probably the author, so I will engage with you here in the outdated comments incase you look at them from time to time.
In this post I felt that you held back what you are really trying to say to the extent that it rendered the piece meaningless. You just spilled 800 words worth of ink on the same vacuous platitudes you seem to accuse companies of.
So I am curious what the real message here is. What change do you want?
Companies didn’t arrive at the culture of giving workers more perks, independence, respect, etc. for no reason. CEOs don’t wake up and think “You know we should be nicer”. No it was through competition. Companies spent recent years fighting for talent and talent could make choices so they chose companies that best fit their lifestyle, represented them, actualized them, and so on. We get paid very well so salary is not the chief concern, other things are.
Maybe as we enter more austere times we’ll see a shift. Certainly Elon’s behavior hasn’t gone unnoticed. But I think your advocacy for _whatever_ should be clarified so it can be properly critiqued.
That would lead to a more interesting article.

Is LTE and 5G performance degradation due to the wireless technology or is it somewhere upstream of that? Like what good is throwing more radio capacity at a stadium if it’s the backhaul, peering, or some other appliance in the middle that is getting overwhelmed?

That's what is happening when you "buy" a device and the device maker uses it to run code that serves only themselves (without receiving permission), to the detriment of your privacy. Well I hate to tell you this but motives are an important piece of how the world works. People don’t think and say things in a vacuum. I am not generous with giving people the benefit of the doubt when their position is in alignment with white supremacists.

On one side you have reactionaries who want to solve the problem by throwing everyone in jail and generally creating more misery for everyone except rich tech workers.
On the other side you have idealistic liberals who want to solve the problem by adding more social services but taking no further action.
This is likely a problem created by extreme wealth inequality and the fix is probably not what the posters on this site would be interested in entertaining.
IMO one of the challenges I've never personally seen solved well is how to truly share the fruits of success with all the people who were necessary for it to happen.

Reporting on Ukraine is pure wartime propaganda. Western and Russian sources both do it. Look at how often Western sources cite the Ukrainian ministry of defense and no one else in their reporting. You see western sources claiming russia is losing or that there's a six figure death toll on the Russian side and then documents get leaked and whoopsie it's actualy less than 20,000. It's hard to blame anyone for not knowing what the hell is really going on because it's intentionally obfuscated from basically everyone except the militaries involved.
However this type of thing happens at a larger scale than just the Ukraine war. I mean look at the "uigher files" that contain like actors from hong kong and shit lol. If you think just Russia and China exaggerate in their news you're not looking hard enough at our news.
One must also point out every single one of this account's comments is either Chinese or Russian apologism.
