Ask HN: A simple CMS to build directories like Makerbook,StartupStash?

I've seen that lately lots of people started hand-curated directories after the success of StartupStash on produchunt.

I've tried once to do something similar but it gave me headaches setting up wordpress, finding template, modiyfing it, etc.

That's why I thought about creating a specialized CMS with pre-made templates to make everything much easier for those who are trying to create these hand-curated directories. No distraction, just setting up some categories, adding items with image,link and description and maybe some other features.

What do you think? Would anyone use this? Could I turn this into a business eventually?
