Ask HN: Did Chrome install Google Wallet app witho permission and witho notifying me?

While adding a Desktop Entry in Ubuntu 14.10 I came across a Desktop Entry with ... Type=Application Name=Google Wallet This app is not listed under "Your Apps" in the Chrome Store, and I don't recall installing it. Anyone else know about this?

EDIT: this is a little bit more bothersome as i just realized this is for Chromium, not Chrome.
