HN: Strange Loops vs Dualism [of the mind]

I have never had trouble with this before. I am in the middle of writing a book that is ~kind of~ about AI, and I have found myself at a small block. I guess I just need a refresher, but I'm not quite ready to dive back into GEB or I Am a Strange Loop.

I know Douglas doesn't like dualism too much. Shoot, I'm probably going to feel really silly in a couple of minutes....
