What is the “use tracker server” option in bittorent sync ?

The new bittorrent sync has that option enabled by default, does it means my keys might pass through a special bittorrent sync server ? Isn't that a possible flaw ?

Any idea what this option really does ? What bout the "use server relay when required" ?
