Ask HN: Why did Dropbox acquire Audiogalaxy?

Audiogalaxy was bar none the best music sharing system back in the late 90's. According to Wikipedia, "Audiogalaxy stopped accepting registrations on December 12, 2012, due to the company's acquisition by Dropbox." Does anyone know why Dropbox bought them? Any Audiogalaxers out there still working for Dropbox?
