Ask HN: Applications of Graph Isomorphism

I've done quite a lot of work over the past few years on graph algorithms and I may have found a rather powerful approach to solving the graph isomorphism problem.

The thing is I don't have much interest in publishing papers or working on problems that don't have applications and it's not clear to me that this problem does.

Does anyone know of any real world applications for a better GI algorithm ?
