WordPress VIP Having Issues

Over the past hour, we have had several short, but widespread network interruptions between the various WordPress.com data centers. As a result, we have measured a decrease in performance and an increase in error rates across the platform. We are currently implementing system-level workarounds while at the same time working to resolve the underlying network problems.

We will send out another alert with more information when this is resolved.
